In this article, we're explaining the purpose of the "Profile" section and how to navigate it 👇
Profile is the place where you can see all your progress, brief information on each section and basic data on your profile.
At the top of the "Profile" section you can see:
Available insights – hints, tips, and advice from Ace to increase your productivity and skill level. Insights are divided into 3 types: red are anxious insights (someone has burnout, some problems), green are good insights (high activity, for example). Insights in profile color are suggestions for improving some processes (onboarding new members, creating a new development plan, meetings)
Your current position - here you can see how much the skill level corresponds to the position
The "History" tab - here you'll find all the review reports and feedback that other members of your workspace have sent you.
Position matching graph. It shows your progress by skill group, or by clicking on a group, you can see the progress of skills from the group. The data can be sorted by period, as well as comparing your current position with any other to see what skills need to be improved.
There are also 3 tabs at the bottom of the header: Growth plan, Position, Updates.
Growth plan
In the Growth plan tab, you will find the last 5 items from each section of Ace:
- Scheduled 1:1s - this will display the 5 most recently scheduled 1:1 meetings in which you are a guest.
- Matrices - here you will see the 5 most recently created skill matrices, as well as you can create a new skill matrix or assign a position. Displayed skill matrices can be sorted by assigned position or editors.
- Last feedbacks - here you can see the last 5 feedbacks you got, as well as request feedback or give feedback to another user.
- On going reviews - the 5 latest incomplete reviews are shown here, or you can create a new one.
- Development goals - the 5 latest active goals are shown here, or you can create a new one.
- OKRs - the 5 latest active OKRs are shown here, or you can create a new one.
Position
In this tab you will see your matching current position. The table will show all skills from your skill matrix, its requirements and your stats. You will be able to see the missing requirements and matching ones, so you know what you need to pump.
Updates
In this tab you will see a timeline of all the changes to your workspace.
On the right side of the page you'll find a "Review insights" section where you can see all the insights.
If you don't have insights yet, plug in integration with Task managers, Git or Messengers to make them available in the future.
If you want to change another user's position, skill matrix, etc., you can do so by going to their Profile and having the appropriate role rights. A more detailed article on how to do this is forthcoming ✍️
