What are Development goals & OKRs?

Plans can remain plans if they are not turned into goals or OKRs

In this article, we discuss the difference between goals and OKRs👇

Development goal

- is a tool for developing particular skills of peers.

These goals can be set according to the results of a skills review, so an employee can develop skills to match the current or desired position on the skillboard.

OKR (Objective & Key Results)

- is a methodology for setting goals within a company.

Check one of our OKR examples:

Objective (Goal): "Become the No.1 company on the space cargo insurance market"

In order to achieve this ambitious goal, you need to link a set of Key Results:

  • Attract 300 clients from B2G industry

  • Hire 10 growth managers for key markets

  • Increase insurance volume from 1 billion to 2 billion in 2021.

Both OKRs and goals are displayed in the special "Goals & OKRs" section
