On every skill matrix, you have the "Career paths" tab. Career paths and positions allow you to create a transparent promotion system from Junior to Senior within the role.
For each skill matrix, you can create career paths and positions, set the required skills and add employees to their current positions. Some of the matrices already have positions and skill level requirements.
